Our Team.

Mná Ag Gáire depends on the voluntary contributions of a group of local women and we would not exist without their tireless support for which we are extremely grateful. We are always looking for new members to join us, so if you are passionate about giving back to your community, and supporting women, contact us for more information.

HILARY TONGE

Founder

Hilary is an activist, campaigner and the driving force behind the creation of Mná Ag Gáire.

As an inexperienced young mother, moving from Dublin to County Clare, she got involved as actively as possible in the issues that most affected herself and her family.

Her experience campaigning for better healthcare, less marginalisation, and better opportunities for women, plus an inspired coordination of provision of PPE for care homes during the Covid pandemic,  let to her realisation of the need for a women’s resource centre or dedicated space for women to meet, connect and support each other in County Clare.

My name is Kateryna, but you can call me Kate. Originally from Ukraine, I've been living in Ireland since 2022.
My passions are psychology, photography and crafts. I'm delighted to assist you with any inquiries related to the
Ennis Women's Hub. Whether it's enrolling for a course, arranging a brief tour of the hub, or helping in
any unclear situations. Feel free to reach out — I'm here to guide you or direct you to the right person.

MARY ANNE KEARNS

Admin

My name is Mary-Anne and I work on the administration side of things here at MAGS. Originally from Dublin, I'm a mom and love animals, Star Trek, and crime TV series.

I recently graduated from TUS Bachelor of Arts (honours) in business studies with travel and tourism management. I was attracted to mags because I wanted to do work that was empowering other women.
